Game of Thrones Season 6 promo artwork features Jon Snow

23 November, 2015 by PashaO

Game of Thrones released a teaser poster for season 6 on thier official Twitter feed. The artwork features a battered and bloody but alive Jon Snow. Fans of the show have been speculating since the end of season 5 as to whether Jon Snow was dead or alive.

When we last saw Snow, he was being lured into a trap and repeatedly stabbed by members of the Nights Watch. The season ended on a cliffhanger and we were left to assume he was dead. But it was the worst kept secret ever!

The fact that Kit Harrington has been spotted on set and has mentioned in an interview that his contract still has miles on it, makes it difficult to buy the producers’ line that ‘Jon Snow is deader than dead‘.  Does this teaser mean they HBO and the producers are finally throwing in the towel on that line or are they toying with us?

There has previously been speculation about a possible May 2016 air date due to scheduling but it looks like HBO have managed to squeeze the series in for April albeit still a bit later than usual.
