Paramount dropped a video on 5 April featuring Will Wheaton and Sir Patrick Stewart.
During a Star Trek: Picard presentation Will Wheaton tries to tease some season two spoilers out of Sir Patrick when John de Lancie (Q) surprises them with a “Bonjour, mon capitaine!”
The new Star Trek: Picard season 2 teaser video reveals that Q will feature in season 2.
The unpredictable and omnipotent trickster played by de Lancie appeared in the pilot of Star Trek: The Next Generation way back in 1987 and was a series regular and a thorn in Picard’s side throughout the show’s seven-season run.
Q has also shown up elsewhere in the TrekVerse, such as Star Trek: DS9, Voyager and more recently the animated Star Trek: Lower Decks.
The second season of Picard is currently in production but a premiere date has yet to be announced.
