In Beware Greeks Bearing Gifts, Xena is called to Troy by Helen to end the ten-year war. Xena is locked up as a traitor when she discovers that all is not what it seems.
After waking from a recurring nightmare in which she is murdered, Helen, Queen of Troy sends for her friend Xena. she dispatches her personal guard Miltiades to find Xena but he is attacked along the way. Luckily, Xena and Gabrielle were in the area and Xena beats off the hooded men but Miltiades was wounded. He manages to give Xena Helen’s message with his dying breath. The pair set out for Troy and Gabrielle is excited about meeting legendary Helen.
Get used to discovering that Xena knows everybody. She’s seen it all and done it all.
In Troy, we find that Gabrielle’s former fiancé, Perdicus has joined the fight. What else are you gonna do when the woman you’re betrothed to runs off with another woman?
Perdicus proves to be quite a Warrior – not the wimp we imagined she was running away from. He even gets to live at the end of it all.
