Xena is accused of murdering four villagers. Ares the God of War comes to her rescue but there are strings attached.
Enter Ares, and what a hunk. This is the beginning of the wonderful relationship between Ares and Xena as he tries to win Xena back to the dark side. Although not guilty of this particular crime Xena has always been prepared for the reckoning of her past crimes. Despite Gabrielle’s protests, she is willing to pay the ultimate price until she sees an opportunity to outsmart the God of War.
Ares tested Xena’s resolve to redeem herself and if it hadn’t been for Gabrielle’s arrival when Xena was going through her bloodlust he may have won.
